We are a group of like-minded people with different backgrounds and skills who are passionate about sustainability.
I work as a sustainability consultant within the engineering firm Arup. I’ve been a specialist in sustainable buildings for almost 15 years, working with clients across a broad range of scales and sectors. As part of that role, I was the lead author of the recent 2030 Zero Carbon Pathways report for Sheffield which is setting the agenda for climate action across the city. I enjoy addressing organisational and strategic issues alongside practical building interventions.
I also work with the UK-Green Building Council, sitting on various Task Groups across their Resilience and Nature-Based Solutions workstream.
I originally sat on the SSN Training and Events Group before moving to the Steering Group earlier this year and am the current chair.
Sheffield-based artisan furniture maker, who uses ethical and environmental principles to create bespoke pieces. Sustainability is at the forefront of my mind with my business, and continues to guide the direction my business takes and the work I make. At the heart of my approach to my work is a desire to make the best furniture I can from the most sustainably sourced materials.. If my work sustains, then it is truly sustainable.
